On the battlefield, Arial is about to execute his most powerful attack yet

feeling the power coursing through his veins, feeling the destructive power travelling from his navel area to his hand, he unleashes a palm attack

In that moment, he feels a feeling of elation. And he laughed

'Hahahaha!'

He laughed because he finally breaks that wall. He never thought much of it but his battle with Varnikar had shown him a new world. 

Arial laughed and then he thrusted his palm forward. 

And to the shock of everyone, there is large dragon coming from his hand. This dragon was manifested using the thunder and lightning that is swirling all around Arial body

The moment he releases his palm attack, all of the lightning swirling all over his body was flying away with his palm attack

Arial eyes look toward Varnikar

Dragon Palm, this method of his combined the most offensive methods of attack. It placed an emphasis on using the most violent strength to destroy everything before it.

Usually when he uses it, a palm attack would be followed by more palm strikes. But this time he did not release another attack

His body is drained of power and he could feel even his Divine Thunder essence is exhausted and it would need time before it could be recharged again

This is his strongest attack. 

He had grasped it and make a bet at the same time. He bets that this attack would determine the victory and defeat.

Arial did not want to admit it but the moment he releases that palm strike; he had drained himself. 

It is the reason why the effect was so grand and the pressure was so powerful

Arial had uses all of his inner energy that is in his body, exhausted his Divine energy and drain all of his stamina.

Dragon Heart have unlimited power. 

That is true. 

But it also depends on the container. Most of the time, Arial had never had to use all of his inner energy in a single attack

And because of how fast his energy recharged, he never felt drained of it.

Only under certain circumstances that he would feel drained

But it also depends on the container. 

And the container is his inner world. No one had been able to force Arial to use all of his inner energy in his inner world and his body in a single attack before

But Varnikar did. And that is why he believes that Varnikar is the strongest person he had ever met. 

And such a strong person, deserves to be respected and honored. And so, Arial unleashes his strongest attack. 

It was also because he could not help it. 

When he gains enlightenment of how to use the skill, it was at this battle. He grasps it but at the same time, he also has to unleash it.

If this is in any other settings, he would be in a safe environment to experiment with it. 

But he grasps it in his battle, executed his thoughts and once he executed his thought he had energy gathering on his body, thunder ready to explode and so the only way he could do it is to unleash it and prove his comprehension.

And as he saw the thunder dragon taking shape form the energy blast of his Dragon Palm, he knew he was right.

And at the same moment, he felt drained. It would not take him long to recharge his inner energy.

But that time period is the time period where he is very vulnerable. 

The Thunder Dragon rushed toward Varnikar who is standing on the distance, his hand and feet still broken

The thunder and lightning on the sky shot down from the heavens trying to stop the Thunder Dragon from coming near but when thunder roars onto that dragon, that dragon roars back to the Heavens

When the lightning strikes the dragon, the lightning assimilated with the dragon apparition and the dragon apparition become even bigger.,

The stream of water that the dragon apparition passes through condensate into air. 

The banks of the stream rivers exploded, the ground that it passes through depressed three feet deep, the grass suddenly turns to ash like some kind of powerful heat burns it in a millisecond.

Dragon Palm summons a dragon!

Even Arial did not expect his martial art skill combined with magic become such an immortal mystical technique

The roars of the dragon shake the clouds above and the shockwave travel toward the city wall, and the soldiers could feel the tremors and the trembling of the ground

What Arial had executed was the fifth move of the Dragon Palm

The Dragon Roars to the Heaven

One of the most powerful aspect of the Dragon palm is that with each attack and each move he makes his momentum increased, and the more he fought, the stronger his combat abilities became.

It is like one of those methods of the Five Finger Peaks. Five Finger Peaks have a martial art called the Ninefold Wave Fist.

There are nine moves. 

Each moves like the waves of an ocean, each move added power to the next move, continuous and in chain, it created a powerful waves and if one could not break it by the nine moves, then the last move of the Ninefold Wave fist would have Ninefold the impact and power.

It borrows the power and momentum of each movement of the martial art skill to achieve such effects

It is the same with his Dragon Palm

Only that his method combines the movement and the inner energy

As such, Dragon palm could only be cultivated by people with great inner energy. Only then the Dragon Palm could show its true might

Varnikar look at the dragon that is coming towards him. 

Instead of feeling scared or afraid or nay of the expect emotion one would see when such an attack that might killed someone rushing to him, he laughed

And he laughed joyously. 

It is a pity that his laugh is drowned by the sound of the roaring dragon, of the buzzing noise of thunder and lightning that swirls around the dragon

'No regret. I found the truth!' he shouted to the sky

Varnikar takes a deep breath and then the wind around him changed, the clouds in the sky exploded and a gust of wind from the sky shot down. 

The dark clouds immediately exploded, and in that moment suddenly the area around the battlefield between Arial and Varnikar turns sunny. 

But even though it turns sunny there is nothing beautiful about the scene. 

The dragon is rushing forward, decimating everything on its path and the path of destruction is very obvious.

In that moment Varnikar suddenly release his control over the clouds, summons the wind, his body clad in lightning, his palm is on fire.

The wind did not cut him, the lightning did not cause any injuries to him and the fire did not burn his hand.

He was also ready to stake it all in one attack. 

As the dragon comes closer to him, his two palms he pushes forward. At that time, the sound of a roaring wind exploded.

In that moment of pushing his two palm forward, it was like he was pushing a great wall of wind

A powerful gust of wind rushes forward from Heaven and Earth.

From the sky, a pulsating wind suddenly descends and gathers in front of Varnikar figure. 

From the ground, exploding from below the ground, wind exploded upwards combining with the pulsating wind from the Heavens. 

It created a wall like structure made of wind. 

The wind and the thunder and the lightning all came together in that moment when Varnikar pushes his two palm forward

The thunder and lightning swirls against each other and it shot forward.

From afar it looks like the dragon is rushing forward to a flying spear. Varnikar uses all of his energy in this attack, his divine energy drained as he attacked with indomitable spirit

He completely gives up any chance of defense. He believes that this is the only way he could survive Arial attack

He did not know it but Arial also did the same thing as him, staking it all in one strike. The ultimate profound secret of the Dragon Palm is to completely give up on defense and focus on attacking

After all the palm movement that Arial had created was an attacking method. But in the end, it is a palm method that he created.

In that moment of enlightenment, he had finally determined the core method of his own martial arts.

Attack forward, never relenting.

If he took even half a step backwards while he fought, his momentum would decrease, and he would not be able to bring out the essence and profound skill of the Dragon Palm

If he did that, with each step backward, the momentum gone, the power dissipate and it would not create such a powerful attack that shocks the Heaven and Earth

This is Arial way of attack. Varnikar on the other hand uses his divine power to seek breakthrough in the most desperate circumstances

The two method is about to clash.

The dragon and the spear of thunder and wind collided and a large explosion erupted in the area. The bridges area is completely devastated.

The dust rises up to the sky, everyone in the distance could not see anything

But there was no longer any movement

Everyone had felt it in their hearts

The battle is over. But who won? And who loses?

The soldiers on the wall tightened their hands on their weapons, the Warchief in the forest ready to charge out 

The shockwave is contained around the battlefield.  The shockwave did not spread out wildly like before, hitting even the city wall

However, it causes the clouds in the sky to split apart, shining a light from the Sun to the battle area of the two warriors like it is some kind of a hallowed ground.

The entire water streams had condensed into air. 

The fire that ravage the grass had stopped because of the harsh wind that blows and kills it. 

Lightning arcs slithers around the rocks and the ground and some even floated in the air before slowly fizzling out.

The dust slowly being blown away by the gentle wind. 

And then everyone could see the winner. Kneeling on the ground, with blood dripping from his mouth is Varnikar.

And standing straight looking down on Varnikar is Arial. 

The cheers from the soldiers shakes the sky. 

But Arial seems to not hear the cheers of victory, of chanting of Long Live the Emperor. He looks at Varnikar and said

'Will you accept me as your lord?' Arial ask. 

Varnikar spits the blood on his mouth to the ground, look up and then prostrate himself.

Then he began saying

'This humble servant has been waiting for the Great Conqueror of Darkness since I was but a young warrior. Today, I swear allegiance. Let Heaven and Earth be my witness. I swear it under the name of Amara and I swear it on the name of my Lord'

Arial crouched down and then lift up Varnikar, smiling.

From the very beginning he has good feeling for this old man. 

There is this sense of familiarity that only strengthened even more as they keep on fighting

There were no hard feelings in his heart instead it was the most enjoyable fight he had in his life

And now this man recognizes him as his lord. 

There are many things that he would be able to do with the allegiance of the High lord of Maroth.

But for now, he would raise his reputation.

He shouted

'the High Lord of Maroth had swear allegiance to me. Maroth is now an ally of Balhae!' 

'Hail the Emperor! The Empire is victorious!

The sound of chanting fills the entire area. 

And Arial laughed, like an overlord of the world
