Chapter 111 Puppet Manipulation. Aiming for Wang Yun’s Head? (1)

“Damn it, damn it, what the hell? The captain from Japan is this audacious? This wildly arrogant?”

“Crush him, crush him, crush him! He actually dared to step right into our program’s special task force and provoke us?”

“Damn, this Japanese guy, isn’t he too arrogant? He says our program inspection team is worthless? Such blatant disrespect!”

“I swear, I swear, with the refined language befitting our civilization of five thousand years, I ‘greet’ this Japanese brat. I’m livid, this guy is just too insolent and presumptuous!”

“He dares to talk about taking our Big Brother’s head? Isn’t that the height of arrogance and presumptuousness? What’s more, he actually dared to come here and openly insult our Captains and members. It’s intolerable!”

When the livestream audience heard Team Japan Captain Mita’s arrogant words, when they witnessed his brazen demeanor, they were on the verge of exploding in anger.

Damn it! Never before seen such audacity.

He waltzed right into their program task force, thinking just inviting Captain Ying Yuezi would suffice. And then he dared to openly provoke and insult?

Who could stand this?

This captain of the Japanese program inspection team was so reckless, completely disregarding them. This was bullying taken too far.

“Hey, the livesteam is about to start faction selection. Currently, there are three options: our team, Japan’s team, and Big Brother’s side!”

“Brothers, let’s head to the cherry blossom camp, and take them down!”

“Take them down, their arrogance knows no bounds! Brothers, I will form the Dragon Nation’s Keyboard Warrior Legion, penetrating deep into enemy lines. Millions of keyboard warriors, join me in this fight!”

“Charge! I joined team Japan’s livestream too. Let the verbal barrage commence!”

At that moment, the rules of the live broadcast began to shift. The chat was ablaze with viewers’ comments, many of whom had joined Team Japan’s livestream.

Captain Mita of Japan was unbearably arrogant and insulting, and they could no longer just watch. They directly joined the livestream of the Japanese program inspection team and launched their verbal attacks. But they were soon slightly bewildered, as the chat was in Japanese.

However, this hardly discouraged the netizens. The language of the two countries was strikingly similar.

The battle was on.

This turned the live chat of Team Japan into an instant hotspot.

The international version of the Skynet Operation program was now officially underway.

In Team Japan’s livestream, Japanese viewers were watching. Seeing the Chinese viewers come to provoke, they too engaged in a verbal onslaught.

Thus began the cross-national friendly skirmish, animating all the livestreams.

Inside the program’s special task force office, Wu Mingyu, Kolyev, and the other Captains were oblivious to the chaos unfolding in the livestreams. Their gazes, icy and unwavering, were fixed on Captain Mita.

“Yuezi, as we apprehend Wang Yun and launch the international version of the Skynet Operation, we hope you’ll align with us,” declared Captain Mita, standing amidst the program task force, seemingly unaffected by the frosty stares surrounding him.

“I won’t trouble you further, farewell!”

He glanced around the room with a faint smile, gave Ying Yuezi a wave, and then turned to leave.

“This guy, his arrogance is over the top,” Wu Yaoming couldn’t help but blurt out as he watched him leave.

“Absolutely arrogant. If it comes down to a clash between camps, I’ll make sure to crush this brat,” Kolyev declared, his face hardening with resolve.

“He’s overly cocky. He might disregard us, but underestimating Wang Yun is a big mistake,” stated Captain Wang Yue, sitting with her arms folded and speaking in a frosty tone. “Otherwise, he’s going to pay for it.”

“That’s Guiye Mita, the eldest heir of the Guiye family. Always loved firearms and combat, always chasing challenges. Two years back, he clinched second place in a global shooting contest, and he’s been Japan’s swordsmanship champion for three years running. Also, he earned his doctorate in international criminology at eighteen. The guy’s a genius,” Ying Yuezi remarked, watching Captain Mita’s departing figure.

Hearing this, Kolyev scoffed and retorted with a sneer, “Some talent, sure, but aren’t we all geniuses here? The Guiye family from Japan? A prestigious family, right? I bet this young master’s academic achievements are just bought, and those swordsmanship titles? Probably handed to him on a silver platter.”

“Haha!”

His remark elicited chuckles from Wu Mingyu and the others.

Kolyev, by nature, was exceedingly arrogant and proud. Now, faced with someone else’s brazenness, he was far from courteous in his response.

At present, Kolyev only showed respect for Wang Yun. As for others? Who, are, you?

“I’m somewhat familiar with Japan’s program inspection team. They are indeed formidable, boasting well-known detectives I know and several geniuses,” Ying Yuezi added.

“How powerful can they be? Able to easily take down Wang Yun? I find that hard to believe,” Wu Yaoming stated with a hint of skepticism.

He genuinely doubted that anyone could effortlessly subdue someone as extraordinary as Wang Yun. His statement found agreement among the others. They all nodded. One cannot truly grasp the extent of Wang Yun’s terror without facing him directly.

Such domineering control was exasperating.

“Let’s begin our investigation,” Wu Mingyu declared, his expression one of fierce resolve. “We can’t let any other program task forces capture Wang Yun before us.”

The team nodded, their eyes shining with determination. They would not be surpassed. They promptly began their search.

Simultaneously, in the vicinity of the Chinese program task force, within Japan’s program task force quarters, Captain Mita returned to a room occupied by thirty others, besides himself.

Twenty-five of these younger members, donning attire somewhat akin to his, bore katanas on their backs. The remaining five consisted of two young men, two middle-aged men, and an elder.

“Ha, Captain Mita, how did things go?” a middle-aged man asked, greeting him with a smile.

“I visited the Chinese program task force. Judging from their expressions, they’re clueless about Wang Yun,” Captain Mita reported, a trace of scorn on his face.

This visit was more than a quest to find Ying Yuezi and to provoke them, it also served as an opportunity to collect intelligence.

According to his observations, China’s program inspection team was clearly at a loss for ideas.

This statement, if understood by any Chinese viewers, would undoubtedly shock them.

“The program inspection team from China is truly ineffectual. We’ve already gathered all the intel on Wang Yun. Plus, we have a hundred program officers ready for deployment,” remarked the middle-aged man with a chuckle. “We need to apprehend Wang Yun as quickly as possible. Otherwise, once other countries’ teams join in, the competition will intensify.”

“No problem, let’s proceed,” the elderly man beside him nodded, settling into his seat with a smile, preparing for action.

The entire Japanese program inspection team rapidly geared up for action.

A day swiftly passed, and now, Japan’s team joined the ranks in the mission to capture Wang Yun.

Unaware of these developments, Wang Yun was happily escorted back by the staff of Nancheng Bank. He smiled and waved goodbye to them, heading towards his temporary living place.

“To the production team, I plan to strike at the Nancheng Bank headquarters tomorrow. Inform them in advance,” Wang Yun said as he entered his residence and picked up his computer.

He began organizing the equipment before him.

“No problem,” came the immediate response from the production team.
