Are You Crazy? You’re Telling Me This Is a Fugitive TV Show?

Chapter 17 Mad Rush, The Overwhelmed TV Show Crew

“Holy cow, what on earth am I seeing? I thought Big Brother turned over a new leaf. I can’t believe it!”

“Whoa, it’s starting, it’s starting! Big Brother came to the wholesale market to kick off his real business.”

“What kind of skills does he have? How did he snatch that wallet so effortlessly?”

“Fact is, a wolf travels a thousand miles for meat, a dog for filth, and Big Brother a thousand miles to steal money. Incredible!”

“Is anyone else getting strangely excited? Big Brother is just too cool, isn’t he?”

As Wang Yun casually pilfered a wallet using a pair of tweezers, the entire livestream audience was sent into a frenzy.

Earlier, some had thought that Wang Yun might buy some food supplies and stash them somewhere. Others speculated he might be getting familiar with the terrain to hide out there in the coming days.

No one, however, anticipated Wang Yun’s next move. Much like his first venture into the store, this was unexpected.

Unaware of the chaos in his livestream, Wang Yun walked a few meters, retrieved the cash from the wallet, and stowed the emptied wallet in a plastic bag.

“Seven hundred and twenty, plus an ID card and a bank card. We’ll need a crew member to handle this,” he murmured under his breath, his eyes locking onto a middle-aged woman ahead.

The woman was sporting an LV shopping bag slung over her shoulder. Earlier, Wang Yun noticed her bag was stuffed with cash. He approached her directly, moving to her rear, lifting his bag with his left hand. Simultaneously, a scalpel appeared in his palm.

As he raised his head, feigning an itch, the scalpel drew a long cut on the bag. With a swift flick of his wrist, like a magician, Wang Yun swapped the scalpel for tweezers and reached inside.

One by one, he pinched out the red bills. He did this five times in a row, accumulating about two thousand yuan. The woman shopping for groceries was completely unaware, and so were the people around.

This was the Tweezers Sect’s technique, Retrieve Objects in Mid-Air, and the Small Knife Association’s Shadowless Knife executed flawlessly together, leaving no trace.

Wang Yun then made his way to the third target, an elderly man.

“Two thousand one hundred, show team, you’re up,” Wang Yun murmured, before advancing about ten meters toward a middle-aged man. The man carried a bulging briefcase slung across his body and was surrounded by a crowd.

“Excuse me, let me through.” Wang Yun approached the man, raised his voice, and squeezed past him.

A faint cutting sound echoed as Wang Yun moved past the man, his palm subtly in action. One by one, he smoothly extracted the bills from within.

“Young man, slow down,” the middle-aged man exclaimed, oblivious to the long cut on his bag or the missing bills, which totaled several thousand.

“Three thousand one hundred, show team, your turn.” Wang Yun counted the bills and announced nonchalantly.

“Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!”

“What did I just see?”

“He’s on a rampage, this is absolutely mad. Did he steal from three people in about a minute? That’s a total of five thousand nine hundred.”

“Damn, is this guy even human? Big Brother, are you a descendant of thieves? This speed, this technique, it’s godlike!”

“My scalp is tingling. His speed and technique of theft are terrifying.”

“Great ancestors above!”

At this moment, in Wang Yun’s livestream, all the viewers were stupefied. They gawked, eyes wide and mouths agape. If someone asked them why they were watching the livestream on their knees. The answer was simple, the streamer was too damn impressive.

That was precisely how they were feeling right now.

The terrifying techniques and swift speed of his thievery were simply hair-raising. It was even more shocking than when Wang Yun was collecting money in stores. Especially his fluid movements, pilfering from three people in just a minute.

Yet, he didn’t stop. As one viewer commented, at that moment, Wang Yun was completely out of control.

What did advanced skills represent? Mastery. A master who had worked in a particular field for ten to twenty years.

Wang Yun relied on three advanced skills, Eagle Eye, Shadowless Knife, and Retrieve Objects in Mid-Air. The victims had no sense of their lost money and wallets.

“Holy cow, I knew this guy wouldn’t behave, but isn’t this too much? He even stole people’s wallets, IDs, and more, slashing open LV bags worth tens of thousands. Oh my God,” a staff member commented.

In a car at the Tianyun market, two Skynet Operation staff members were watching the livestream from outside. The program had staff nearby each fugitive to prevent any accidents.

“Let’s go, let’s hurry over. Damn, our budget is burning, he’s still in action, and those slashed bags alone are worth tens of thousands,” one staff member bellowed, sprinting toward the scene.

Both staff members felt overwhelmed, and a sense of panic was setting in.

“One thousand two hundred, show team, you’re up.”

“Eight hundred, show team, you’re up.”

“One thousand four hundred, show team, you’re up.”

At that moment, Wang Yun was still in action. It took him only three minutes to complete his small theft spree, leaving behind seven victims. The money he obtained totaled ten thousand and five hundred yuan.

Looking at the money in his hand, Wang Yun blew a bubble. “The money’s a bit less, let’s go check out the seafood area. There should be more there.”

Seafood was generally expensive, so those who intended to buy were likely to carry more money. Upon hearing Wang Yun’s mumbling, the livestream viewers were dumbfounded.

“Listen what he’s saying, is he even speaking human language?” they questioned.
