Beastman Forcefully Raising a Wife

Chapter 3: Yun Fruit

Shu Jintian used this chance to evaluate the snake nest. It was an underground tunnel with the exit facing upwards. The height of the tunnel was about three or four meters and was very precipitous. The cave was devoid of things he could use as leverage, and he was unable to leave on his own.

Wrapped up in the snake’s coils, Shu Jintian was brought out of the cave and he realised that it was now close to dusk. He had been unconscious for the better part of the day.

However, Shu Jintian did not imagine that this ‘better part of the day’ wasn’t in accordance with his usual time. The better part of the day here was equivalent to an entire day on Earth.

His body was tightly wrapped and dragged around. Shu Jintian had no margin to struggle and thus didn’t resist, electing to conserve his strength instead.

However, what in the world was this python’s plan? Bringing his food reserve to stroll around the garden?

The female’s obedience made the Spiritual Snake very satisfied. Sure enough, he had to have an unyielding attitude towards females; just look at how effective it was. He definitely wouldn’t give his female a chance to escape, and would not even allow him to harbour any thought of escaping.

The python brought Shu Jintian along for a stretch of the road and discovered that he had shrunk into his body without a single movement. They ran into a few beasts, but there wasn’t much reaction from him. For a time, the snake couldn’t figure out what in the world he liked.

The Spiritual Snake turned its head back and hissed out twice.

Shu Jintian immediately looked at the large, dark green snake, his heartbeat quickening once more.

The female’s fearful attitude towards him delighted the Spiritual Snake and he kindheartedly loosened his tail, releasing the female to roam around freely.

The released Shu Jintian was a little flabbergasted, and his heart started pounding with his newfound freedom. It was beating even more violently than when he was suddenly glanced at by the large snake.

Shu Jintian wanted to flee, wanted his freedom! But no, if he took a wrong step, he would probably be buried in the snake’s mouth the next second. There was too much disparity between their strengths, and this could be the reason the python let him go so casually ba!

Suppressing his urge to break into a run and flee, his body that had been bound was a little numb. He pretended to casually exercise his limbs but still obediently stood beside the large snake, afraid of taking even half a step away.

The Spiritual Snake was even more satisfied and used his tail to lightly sweep Shu Jintian, indicating for him to pick the food he wanted. He would catch it for him.

Shu Jintian was ‘gently’ patted by the snake and his body staggered forward, collapsing and nearly falling onto the floor.

Looking at its eyes, it wasn’t planning to let him walk off, so what did it want to do by releasing him?

The lack of malicious intent in its eyes had Shu Jintian hazarding an absurd guess.

This snake, did it want to raise him as a pet? Because he was all smooth like the snake? A lot of familiarities?

Then it was now releasing him to let him find food to eat. Just now in the cave, the beast it had tossed to him was also to feed him ba!

Damn it! Unexpectedly being kept captive and reared by a snake!

This sort of cognition made Shu Jintian feel awful all over. However, he wasn’t in life-threatening danger, in any case, so cooperating with it, for now, wasn’t a bad idea.

Shu Jintian carefully took a small step out and saw the large snake eyes turn to follow him. The pressure on him was as high as a mountain.

Afraid to make too big a move, Shu Jintian embarrassedly plucked a tender leaf, looked at the large snake, then placed it in his mouth and chewed it.

Ugh~ how bitter!

He received the snake’s disdainful gaze. Did he see wrongly? Shu Jintian secretly thought.

Shu Jintian staggered from its forceful push, and could only walk forward with the snake’s pressing.

Shu Jintian’s eyes brightened when he bumped into a few fruit trees. However, he did not dare to recklessly run over and pick it.

The Spiritual Snake had always been paying attention to the female. Seeing this, his tail changed its herding direction and hurried him towards the direction of the fruit trees.

Shu Jintian was incredibly happy, and couldn’t help walking to the fruit tree with quicker steps.

The branches were many and the leaves were lush, with plump fruits hanging in the spaces between. The trees were much smaller only if they were compared to the other large, towering trees. In fact, this tree wasn’t short, and Shu Jintian could only reach the lowest fruit on the tip of his toes.

The yellow fruit was the size of his fist and was very hard when he bit into it. There wasn’t much flavour and the taste was somewhat tart, probably because it wasn’t ripe yet.

Shu Jintian raised his head to look at the fruits at the top of the trees. Pale yellow with a touch of crimson; it was probably ripe and definitely would be much more delicious than the one in his hands.

Understanding his meaning, the Spiritual Snake deftly slid up the tree, bit on the red fruit and brought it down.

Then, with his body wrapped around the tree, he simply lowered his head and passed the fruit to the female.

The tree trunk wasn’t thick and was pressured by the bending of the snake’s body. The leaves and branches let out rustling sounds as if the fruit tree was uttering sad cries.

Shu Jintian looked at the snakehead extended towards him with the fruit in its mouth and accepted it with a tremble.

The fruit was still stained with the snake’s saliva. Shu Jintian held the fruit and didn’t know what to do.

In the end, unable to endure the snake’s threatening eyes, he summoned up his courage and took a bite.

The crispy and sweet fruit was filled with juice, the flavour sweet and pleasant. Shu Jintian, however, was eating it as if it was tasteless. The fruit juice that slowly filled his mouth was like the snake’s saliva, and could possibly be extremely venomous.

But seeing that the large snake wanted to raise him, it probably wouldn’t poison him so casually.

The Spiritual Snake was very satisfied and went back up the tree to pick a few more fruits for the female. However, it seemed that the female was already full because the female placed all the fruits he later picked into the belt of his clothes.

A female’s appetite was this small? It was as if it hadn’t eaten in the first place.

The Spiritual Snake only went down the tree when the female’s pocket could no longer hold any more fruit. It coiled around the female again and slithered back.

En route, they happened across a place full of chaotic scents. There were smells of male beastmen, female beastmen, and beasts.

Not wanting to have the stench sticking to him, the Spiritual Snake prepared to make a detour.

“Stop, hurry up and stop!” Shu Jintian cried out in alarm.

The female rarely spoke so boldly to him. Though he couldn’t understand, he still stopped moving and magnanimously released him.

A pure white comforter was lying on the dusty, green ground; it was very eye-catching.

Shu Jintian’s gaze had been attracted precisely by this comforter, and he had already forgotten his current situation.

After being released by the snake, Shu Jintian quickly went over, picking up the thin white quilt.

The comforter was pure white without any patterns, and even had a faint, jasmine fragrance of laundry detergent. The owner had folded it neatly and tidily, and it was obvious that he was a person who loved cleanliness.

However, didn’t he transmigrate? How could such a thing exist? Could it be that there was someone else who transmigrated like him?

The matter of transmigration was strange in itself. At that time, he had just felt as if he had passed through something. When his mind cleared, he discovered he had transmigrated.

Moreover, the group behind him couldn’t enter. This meant that the time of transmigration had a certain restriction and perhaps the other transmigrator just happened to step across at this time and transmigrated together with him.

Knowing that he wasn’t alone in this unfamiliar world made Shu Jintian incredibly excited. The hand grasping the comforter faintly trembled.

The Spiritual Snake frowned in displeasure as his emerald green irises deepened. He flicked his tongue out to sense the scent in the air.

The thing the female was holding was a female’s. It seemed that that female was in his estrus…?

Interesting!

He thought, he had an even better idea.

The snake tail swept across and coiled around the female that was still kneeling on the floor and speedily slithered after the path where the female in estrus had walked.

Shu Jintian was caught unaware and clutched the comforter tightly. He leaned against the large snake’s satiny back and did his best to stay balanced.

The Spiritual Snake followed along the path of the female in estrus and soon found what he wanted to find— Yun fruit!

Ai? So it turned out that it was finding food for him? So kind? Why don’t it directly show mercy and let him go!

This red fruit tree was short. Shu Jintian did not wait for the snake to move its mouth and rushed over to take the fruit.

The ripe fruit was entirely red and looked delicious. Seeing that there were insect bites, it probably was not poisonous.

Shu Jintian took some fruits that didn’t have many insect holes, and didn’t pick any of the green ones, leaving them to eat next time.

The Spiritual Snake looked at the proactive female in astonishment. Shouldn’t he be hiding and refusing to eat the yun fruit? The females in his memories were always like this ah! It should be known that females would have the ability to conceive only if they ate the yun fruit.

Since he was so proactive, could he have yielded to my strength? En, this was entirely possible.

The Spiritual Snake was in a very good mood and was much gentler to Shu Jintian. He lowered the midsection of his body, indicating for the female to climb up on his own.

Shu Jintian could not understand the snake’s intentions and stood in place, waiting for him.

In the end, the Spiritual Snake became impatient and still used his tail to coil around him. But this time, his strength was much softer.

Upon reaching the snake cave, the Spiritual Snake let go of Shu Jintian and went to a place nearby to drink water.

Shu Jintian was also placed at the riverside. He conveniently cleaned his body and stood up. He struggled to weigh his present situation.

The large snake was still drinking water and wasn’t looking at him. Should he take the opportunity to flee? If they entered the cave again, it would be hard if he wanted to come out.

Shu Jintian was having a battle in his mind, and his body spontaneously retreated slightly.

The snake seemed to have sensed it and suddenly turned its head back, giving Shu Jintian a warning look.

As if a basin of water had been dumped over his head, Shu Jintian felt ice-cold all over.

The Spiritual Snake roughly wound around the female and swiftly returned to the cave. Upon reaching their cave, the Spiritual Snake irritably flung its tail and threw Shu Jintian onto the grass pile he himself slept in.

Shu Jintian let out a muffled groan, somewhat in pain. Rubbing his butt that was aching from the fall, he shrunk back into the corner.

The large snake also glided onto the grass pile, coiling around Shu Jintian.

Shu Jintian’s heart shrank and he dare not move at all.

The large snake no longer did anything and only twisted itself tightly around Shu Jintian’s body, slowly shifting until it was comfortably wound around his waist and legs before it rested its head on the grass and went to sleep.

Shu Jintian stiffly waited for a long time. Seeing the large snake no longer move, he tried to remove his crushed arms and as expected, the large snake looked at him in admonishment.

He forced out a calm smile and quietly said the excuse he had long thought of, “I’m hungry; let me eat something.”

The snake then shut its transparent eyelids, appearing to no longer bother about Shu Jintian.

Since he said so, it wasn’t good if Shu Jintian didn’t eat anything, so he took out the red fruit he had picked and took a tiny bite.
