At the wee hours of the next day, the sun just rose. There was a Land Rover Benz at the car park of Badaling. Two people came out from the car, “Tsk, so cold, I have never got up so early during winter.” “Why is the anchor not here yet?”
“Eh!” they were speaking among themselves; never expecting there was somebody there, “Are you guys waiting for Lord B-Dog too?”
Three young people gave a start, looking at each other and laughed. “Ha-ha, I thought only two of us were waiting for the anchor to run the Great Wall. Unexpectedly, there was someone earlier than us.”
That person seemed to be a young guy, perhaps a university student. He smiled and said, “I am not the earliest. There was a guy here just now that has gone to the washroom to take a leak. He will be back in a short while. It is 6 am now, I think Lord B-Dog has just woken up.”
“You guys are awesome. I woke up at 5 am and was dragged by this guy to run the Great Wall. Furthermore, he was talked by an anchor into doing it. I almost went crazy at that time.” Someone in the Land Rover said with a cold shoulder. His partner put his hand on that person’s shoulder and smiled, “Ignore him, he is my best friend and seldom watches the live broadcast. My ID is Chen C-Dog, nice to meet you.”
“Wow, Chen C-Dog, Mr. Tycoon.” The university student was shocked, naturally he knew of the tycoon in the live broadcast room of B-Dog.
Chen C-Dog denied, “What tycoon, I just had some spare money. Chief Cow is the real tycoon.”
The university student was embarrassed, “My ID is Guan Qi, real name is also Guan Qi, just a normal account and would send some Bamboos sometime. I am still at Bronze Level 3.”
Chen C-Dog consoled him, “That’s alright. There is a saying that those sending Bamboos are true loves. Maybe B-Dog prefers loyal followers like you.”
The sky was getting brighter and there were more people coming one after another.
It was a cold day. Giving up the warm bed at home and gathering here was not easy. The most interesting part was they knew each other through the same anchor and had the same hobby. When they were together, they started to chat. There were some tycoon accounts of Panda that had already achieved Platinum and Diamond levels while some of them merely watched the live broadcast without paying, at most sending the free bamboos. Everyone was merrily chatting.
There was a rational friend that said, “I am not an idol follower but today I actually responded to an anchor’s call. I must be insane. Chen C-Dog suggested, “When B-Dog comes, let’s pretend we don’t know each other. Won’t it be funny?” He simply suggested and got the agreement from others immediately; hence, started a prank unintentionally.
Soon Chen B-Dog had reached Badaling by cab. The operation hours during winter were from 7 am. He reached just in the nick of time, a mere ten minutes earlier. Originally he thought there would not be many people, but did not expect that so many people had gathered there. Most of them were the old folks staying nearby and probably exercised at the Great Wall usually. However, there were few youngsters gazing at him with a strange look.
It was almost the time; B-Dog brought out the filming ball which had been disguised as an aerial camera. Soon the live broadcast room was occupied by thousands of people. “Good morning everyone, we meet again. What is the feeling of watching my live broadcast in the morning?” B-Dog greeted as usual.
“What morning, I have not slept yet just to wait for you to run the Great Wall.”

“+10086.”
“I love lying on my bed and watching B-Dog torture himself. Really great!”
B-Dog could not help laughing, “Regardless whether you have not slept the whole night or is lazing in bed, if you can get out of bed and follow me to exercise, I guess it would be a good experience. Okay, let’s cut the crap, I should go to queue up now…”
At this moment, there came a loud shout, “Lord B-Dog!”
“Ahhh… Damn!” The loud shout that was heard all of sudden frightened him. He nearly threw out “Dog Egg”.
Everyone saw his alarmed expression and laughed loudly with satisfaction. Waking up early and waiting for so long were not in vain. The reckless celebration had attracted the attention of the old folks. Chen B-Dog calmed down and spoke to them. He was excited but could not confirm: “You guys… are the netizens? Coming to join me for morning run?”
“Yes, Lord B-Dog, I am Chen C-Dog, recognize me?”
Chen B-Dog smiled, “So you are Chen C-Dog, one of the people who sent me a gift at the beginning. I never expected you to be a handsome man. Anyhow, frankly, you are handsome but not compatible with me.” Chen C-Dog spitted, “Shameless, how thick-skinned you are to claim you are more handsome than me.”
“Even if I am not thick-skinned, I am still more handsome than you and this is the unarguable truth.” B-Dog was talking seriously, “I am handsome and this is about principle. No matter how many gifts you send me, I cannot deny it.”
“Fine, forget it.”
“Ha-ha…” Everyone laughed.
After some introductions, B-Dog could recognize some of them but some of them were first timers. However, it did not matter, he knew them now. He made a head count and to his surprise, there were 15 of them. A miracle.
The audiences in the live broadcast room had already flooded the screen with, “Awesome”, “So many people met up, it seems interesting.”
The friend, who was persuaded by Chen C-Dog to come, was curious as to why his best friend was joking with other people. For the first time, he felt the meetup was an interesting thing.
After knowing each other, they started. First, they lined up to take a group photo, then started to run.
The cold wind howled as the sun rose from the east.
Looking around, the fatherland, the sea, the mountains were all under the feet, this feeling… was indescribable.
B-Dog could be considered as the expert of long-distance running. He could tell that a few of them were lacking in training and guided them. “Take note of the breathing rhythm and the angle of arms swinging. It is not long for this part of the Great Wall so help each other up. I hope everyone can reach the finishing point together.”
“I cannot run anymore, you guys go ahead.”
“Come on! Let me help you.”
Those few men helped and supported each other. Miraculously, no one was left behind. Chen C-Dog sighed, “Damn, I see you always running quite easily. Yet, when I run myself, only then do I know it is not easy.”
B-Dog laughed, “When I just started, I was worse than you. Just continue. You… are still not as good as me, ha-ha-ha.”
“Damn, bad mouth!” Everyone was unhappy.
Nevertheless, although they were irritated, speaking honestly, this guy was getting more and more handsome after slimming down. In few more days, he could probably achieve the young version of Takeshi Kaneshiro, Daniel Wu and Louis Koo.
The live broadcast room was getting warmer. When it was about 7 to 8 o’clock, it had reached 80 thousand audience.

The tandem of gifts exploded this morning. The live broadcast room had broken the record and achieved a 100 thousand people.
PS: The total distance of Badaling is 7600 meters. Currently, the opening area to the public is only 3741 meters. Don’t talk about running, even walking could be a problem. Hence, please do not go into the description seriously; this is a parallel world after all.
