I Became the Rich Second-Generation Villain

Chapter 4: This is too Unfair!

As Wang Haoran was communicating with the system, Xu Muyan entered the classroom.

Chu Bai quickly shifted his eyes from Wang Haoran and, with a belly laugh, ran towards Xu Muyan.

He didn’t know when, but Chu Bai shaved his previously long hair down to half an inch.

That kind of hairstyle combined with ordinary looks wouldn’t be able to hide the noticeable shortcomings on his face.

Chu Bai, who had a passerby’s face, was now in such a situation.

His belly laugh was similar to that of a clown.

However, without a mirror placed in front of him, he must not have realized it.

“Student Xu, you’re here. Morning class will begin after a while. I have many study questions that I need your guidance for. Do you have time?” Chu Bai flashed a smile at Xu Muyan.

“Yes, I do.”

Xu Muyan, as a student committee member and a kind-hearted girl, would certainly not refuse her classmates asking for help with questions about their studies.

“Come on, go to your seat, I’ll help you get your school bag.” Chu Bai seemed very warmhearted.

“There’s no need” Xu Muyan shook her head.

“If you hadn’t helped me catch up to my missed lessons, it would’ve been impossible for my academic performance to rise from the bottom ten of the class to the middle. I should help you with these small things. It’s what I’m supposed to do.”

“The reason was that you were already very smart to begin with. What I told you was no different from what the teacher taught us during the lectures. If you continue paying attention, your grades will stay raised.”

“No, no. The reason I can listen to all of your lectures is because you’re beautiful.”

Xu Muyan couldn’t help but feel a little shy listening to his compliment.

Chu Bai took this opportunity to reach out for Xu Muyan's schoolbag.

While holding the school bag, he wanted to pretend to touch Xu Muyan’s hand by mistake.

But it failed.

Wang Haoran couldn’t help but sigh as he watched the scene unfold.

He had to admit that cheeky boys were beneficial when it came to chasing girls at a relatively young age.

That was what Chu Bai was doing.

Wang Haoran already knew that the real reason for Chu Bai’s academic performance improving by leaps and bounds was his X-Ray Vision.

He must have cheated on the last exam.

Asking Xu Muyan to do his homework was just an excuse for him to get in touch with her.

After Wang Haoran had seen through this, it was, of course, impossible to ignore it.

When Chu Bai followed Xu Muyan to take a seat beside her desk, Wang Haoran walked over with an exercise book in hand and asked directly.

“Xu Muyan, you must’ve completed the homework problem our math teacher gave us yesterday, right?”

“I did, but I don’t know whether my answer is correct or not.” Xu Muyan, who no longer hated Wang Haoran, naturally answered his question about his studies.

“I also got an answer, but likewise, I don’t know whether it’s right or not. Why don’t we discuss it?”

"Okay." Xu Muyan nodded willingly.

"Student Xu, I came first." Chu Bai interrupted.

“Just wait a moment.” Xu Muyan wanted to discuss the math problem with Wang Haoran first.

This math problem was, in fact, very difficult. It was beyond the scope of knowledge of high school math and was only meant for academic masters.

It was only possible for Wang Haoran and Xu Muyan to do this math problem after class.

Wang Haoran wanted to discuss it, and Xu Muyan, naturally, was happy to oblige.

Chu Bai was forced to stand aside stupidly, not understanding Wang Haoran and Xu Muyan’s discussion. It was as if he was being introduced to the heavenly scriptures.

Wang Haoran, noticing Chu Bai’s stiff face, couldn’t help but chuckle while discussing with Xu Muyan.

Speaking a common language and topic, he and Xu Muyan, who were both at the top of the class, felt much more familiar with each other.

The pair of the handsome boy and beauty gradually began to talk and laugh.

When one walked by them, they could understand that the two were only discussing questions, but when watched from a distance, the scene couldn’t be understood clearly, and many students misinterpreted it as the two being in love.

Wang Haoran prolonged the topic’s discussion deliberately so that Xu Muyan, who was wholly immersed in it, unknowingly ignored Chu Bai’s existence.

The morning class would begin in a short while.

“Wang Haoran, you purposely came over to discuss the problem with Classmate Xu. You’re not really interested in reviewing the problem; your discussion is likely a fluke. Your true purpose is to get close to Classmate Xu. You’re a hypocrite if you think you can succeed with Classmate Xu.”

Chu Bai couldn’t stand it anymore and interrupted the two’s discussion with his reprimanding words.

Upon hearing this, Wang Haoran smiled.

This guy tried picking up Xu Muyan using missing lectures as an excuse and took it for granted.

If Wang Haoran did the same, he would stand against it.

Did this fellow have to be so unfair?

“Chu Bai, you misunderstand Wang Haoran.” Xu Muyan frowned.

Earlier, Wang Haoran clearly stated that he must concentrate on his studies and that he didn’t have unpleasant thoughts about her. He also warned his little brother not to talk nonsense.

Of course, Xu Muyan, who was filled with kindness, chose to believe what Wang Haoran said.

“I’m not mistaken. He couldn’t stand that you were helping me with my studies. Yesterday, he sent his little brothers to block my way after school. He said that you belonged to him and warned me not to stay close to you.” Chu Bai said.

When Xu Muyan heard this, she looked at Wang Haoran in surprise.

“I didn’t send them. It was Fan Jian and the others who acted on their own.” Wang Haoran explained.

It didn’t matter that he didn’t do it. Even if he did, he would answer the same way.

He was the Villain.

The Villains always use unethical methods to achieve their goals, and lying was very common.

“If you are a man, you would admit what you have done.” Chu Bai wanted to make a commotion.

He wanted Wang Haoran to admit this so that Xu Muyan would be wary and keep a distance from him in the future.

“What you just said wasn’t the whole story. Fan Jian and the others, the three of them blocked your way but it was them who were beaten up. Don’t you have anything to say?” Wang Haoran asked back.

“Of course. It is natural. How could a few weak fellows be my opponents?” Chu Bai snorted triumphantly.

He couldn’t help but feel a little proud when he spoke of this.

Chu Bai was a poor student. He often skipped class and dealt with young people in society. When conflicts occurred, fighting was common. He developed good fighting skills through repeated battles and ended up being as ruthless as possible when attacking his opponents!

Wang Haoran called Fan Jian into the classroom.

“Take off your hat and let Xu Muyan see your face.”

Although Fan Jian wasn’t the smartest, he understood that his Boss wanted to make trouble with Chu Bai before Xu Muyan.

He immediately took off his hat and showed off his bruised nose and swollen face.

Xu Muyan, who had previously seen Fan Jian’s disfigured face, finally understood the reason and frowned.

"Why… Why were you beaten like this?"

“This is considered light. Fan Tong and Qin Shousheng were beaten far worse. It was useless for us to kneel and beg for mercy; Chu Bai chased us down.”

Fan Jian rubbed the bruises on his face and was so depressed that he almost cried.

"That's what you deserve." Chu Bai didn't care.

“Although the three of them, including Fan Jian, provoked you, don’t you think your defense was a bit too extreme?” Wang Haoran asked.

“I didn’t break their hands or feet. They should thank me instead for being merciful.”

In Chu Bai’s view, he took care of this matter accordingly and wasn’t too harsh with Fan Jian.

Xu Muyan frowned.

Only a few girls like violence, and she is not an exception.

It’s because Chu Bai was so immersed in the pleasure of beating Fan Jian that he didn’t notice the subtle changes in Xu Muyan’s expression.

Wang Haoran noticed the tiny details and was happy in his heart.
