Chapter 250 - Domineering Jellan

"I'm telling you Istan, if this were all just a prank... I won't talk to you ever again." Nalyn declared as she eyed Istan intensely.

Istan was taken aback and he hurriedly answered, "What? I told you guys already that it's true!"

"I just wanted to warn you guys about Sis Jellan."

"What about her?" The others inquired.

"Well, as we must all already know, she gets jealous easily. You remember what happened before, right? If we get clingy to Bro-Nile, she will always interrupt and find ways to separate us so that she could have Bro-Nile all for herself."

The others nodded as they acknowledged what he just said.

"I remember her eyeing me before just because I hugged Bro-Nile tightly." Nalyn nodded her head and smiled as she recalled that piece of memory.

"Well, earlier, when I was about to go near Bro-Nile, she actually kicked me away. She said that it was because Bro-Nile is in the process of evolution and he should not be interrupted, but I'm guessing that's just her excuse so that I could go near him and solo the area near Bro-Nile." Istan nodded his head as he fully believed that his theory was the truth.

"If it's her, she might do just that." The others nodded their heads, finding his theory quite possible.

In fact, they already fully believed it and only Nalyn was the one remaining who still had some reservations.

They became noisy recounting their own experiences about Jellan, even forgetting the fact that they still haven't eaten yet and they still need to go upstairs to meet Nile and Jellan again.

At this time, Nalyn who was still weakly lying on the bed could no longer wait as she said, "What are we waiting for? Let's go meet them already, but let's just do what Sis Jellan says for now."

The others also nodded their heads as they also don't want to really disturbed Nile if what Jellan said was somehow true.

They did not waste time any longer as they helped and assisted Nalyn up.

They felt nervous as it will be their first time seeing Nile again after five years. Their emotions were mixed up from confusion, excitement, and nervousness.

Of course, there was a hint of anger too, but it is minimal compared to others. After all, the gratitude they felt already overshadowed everything else. One could say that they are blinded by gratitude.

Sometime later, they finally reached the ending of the stairs going upwards.

One by one, they emerged from the door of the basement and nervously waited for Istan and Nalyn to emerge as well.

Istan is the one who assisted Nalyn along with another young boy called Mart.

Sometime later, as the others were afraid to go first, Istan and Mart decided to go first along with Nalyn.

Nalyn was so nervous that her forehead was now full of sweats. It almost looked like she just came out of the shower.

Sometime later, they finally arrived at the living room.

They observed Jellan as well as the figure of a man behind her. Their curiosity reached the peak as they slowly surrounded the two in silence, trying to observe if what Istan said was true.

Nalyn even stretched her neck that hard that everyone heard a crack from it. The others looked at her but ignored it the next second after confirming that she was okay.

They returned their focus towards Nile who looked like he was sleeping soundly, and Jellan who had her eyes closed, as if meditating just beside him.

"It's really Nini!" One of the youngest children, Jeric, exclaimed happily upon confirming that it was really Nile.

As a lot of them were just normal humans, they could not see anything in the dark. Fortunately, the illumination that came from the moon managed to lightly light the dining room allowing them to observe Nile two meters away.

Jeric forgot Istan and Nalyn's reminders earlier due to excitement as he immediately ran towards Nile like a child seeing his father came home from work.

However, the next moment, his body halted as he felt that his feet were no longer touching the ground.

He nervously looked beside him and there, he saw Jellan eyeing him like a tigress.

A chill crawled down Jeric's spine as he recalled what Istan shared to them earlier. When Jellan kicked him in the stomach.

Jeric suddenly felt nervous as he recalled that he's only an ordinary human, and if somehow he got kicked by Jellan who was already an awakened…

Jeric dared not to think about his outcome anymore as he just stared at Jellan with puppy eyes. He then smiled cheekily before saying in a mosquito-like voice, "H-hello, Sis Jellan!"

Jellan frowned at his 'cute' act and in the end, she just let go of him without spanking his butt.

After hearing Jeric's shout earlier, the others also wanted to go near Nile, however, when they saw Jellan's swift movement they immediately took three steps back in fear.

In the end, Jeric's case became a lesson for them and even if he did not get into trouble in the end, they are not willing to try their luck.

In the end, Jeric just becomes everyone's guinea pig, testing the boiling waters called Jellan.

After Jellan dropped him, Jeric immediately retreated far away from the Jellan, who he just gave a moniker- Jealous Devil.

And when the others already back out in a fair distance, Jellan the Jealous Devil finally decided to speak, "Don't disturb his evolution! Istan, didn't you warn them in advance?"

Istan's neck shrinks back in fear after hearing her. "I-I did!" He hurriedly yelled in defense, lest he got accused and be the one to get punished by Jellan.

"I'm not fooling around with you all! I won't let any get past two meters away from Nile. This step is very crucial for him and I hope you don't do anything funny! Or else, I won't hesitate to kick your asses around!" Jellan declared bossily while eyeing everyone in the room.

"Are we clear?!"

The others could only nod their head silently in response to her domineering words.
