Xue Zixi leaped to her feet, eyes wide with shock, barely containing her urge to berate Jiang Hao.
Quickly, Jiang Hao gestured with his hands to calm the impending storm from Xue Zixi.
He then produced a paper bag from his pocket, slid it across to her, and continued.
“There's another, even more extreme attribute of these mutated vegetable seeds I haven't mentioned yet!”
Xue Zixi replied, clearly displeased.
“What's this about?”
She was skeptical that Jiang Hao's mutated vegetable seeds could have any traits more bizarre than the additional attributes they already possessed!
Jiang Hao, unfazed, replied with a grin.
“The growth cycle of these mutated vegetables has been reduced by me to just six to eight hours!”
“Meaning, plant these seeds, and in just six to eight hours, you'll be ready to harvest!”
Xue Zixi, who had been dismissive at first, was suddenly taken aback, staring at Jiang Hao with a mix of shock and disbelief. For a moment, she questioned everything she knew about life.
“What?”
Seeing her reaction, Jiang Hao wasn't surprised. He quickly motioned for Xue Zixi to take a seat.
“It's understandable that you're skeptical. Here are some of the mutated vegetable seeds. Try planting them in a flowerpot.
Check the results tomorrow, and then you can decide if you want to go through with the deal!”
“Well, it's getting late. I need to head back.”
With that, Jiang Hao stood up, grabbed his backpack, and concluded their meeting.
Jiang Hao had been gone for a while, but Xue Zixi remained in a daze.
Once she snapped out of it, she hastily grabbed the paper bag Jiang Hao had left, found a flowerpot, and without a second thought, yanked out the precious flower that was in it.
She planted the mutated vegetable seeds and then sat back, watching the flowerpot intently.
