Rebirth of The Strongest Celestial

Chapter 6: Trial Tower Part One

"We will take the Specialist Trial," says Nineth Immortal. Tyr isn't surprised he was even trying to think how he will convince his friends. Even if they have to restart with new characters this opportunity is too good to let it slip past their finger. Each of their eyes shines as this is why they play these games to do something other people might think is insane.

Ramata grins pleased by the spirit these level zero's are displaying. They all get a notification from the system. Tyr is glad this happened as dangerous quests give the most rewards. It is also indicating to him he is on the right path. he is a little worried because even in his old life no quest gave hidden stats reward for simply talking to an NPC.

+ 1 to honour. Honour is a hidden stat like luck, life rating and Risha Cultivation Rank. This particular stat affects how Npc's see a player. Frey says, "is the trial an individual task?"

She is rearing to go this weapon they gave her for trial has three skills attached to it even as a common weapon. She is eager to try out the fire attack spell. After all with her spirit power at three, it will definitely boost her magic attack power.

Styx on other hand is more interested in the rewards, butting in he asks, "What kind of rewards are in the specialist trial?" Tyr would be worried if they hadn't already cleared the hidden requirement of being level zero there are few quests that are hidden that have multiple requirements. A quest like that will always offer clues so that a player can tailor themselves to meet all those requirements. In his past life Terror, a voidless player spent a year tweaking his character to match the requirements to operate the Black Bible.

Ramata says, " The benefits you will attain are up to how much effort you put in. As a small courtesy for his young majesty over there. I will say the greatest treasures are hidden here especially from the seventh floor and up but be warned there have only been nine people to ever make to the tenth floor. Please remember pain is the path to salvation." As she says that Seven gates appear each leading to a different space.

"It seems I will be going ahead," says SKY Ocean Hunter as he jumps through the gate that is filled with seawater. The gate had spoken to him. Lux kisses him before she too moves towards a rather dreadful gate that has the smell of blood coming from it. Sharp eared players like Frey can hear the sounds of battle coming from it. Titiana jumps into a frozen hell with her staff in hand. Nineth Immortal waves at Tyr before flying into the portal inside is an open heavens gate. Frey slowly moves towards her gate a green realm similar to the Netherealm only in the distance is a crystalline building the size of a mountain. Styx pats Tyr on the back before leaping into a large spiritual river.

Tyr can see only one gate left which is completely dark. He looks at Ramata who nods for him to enter. As soon as Tyr is gone a group of humans appear this group is lead by none other than Thousand Styles Miles.

"I'm here for the sword of Oberth." Says Thousand Styles Miles, Ramata doesn't say anything she simply vanishes leaving them on the first floor Trail Tower.

"Boss looks there is some kind of path here," says a dark-skinned human male with a bald head and big moustaches. If Tyr saw him he would be surprised especially since they all know him in the real world as one of the village elders who have been trying to sell to Baron International. They all move past a new set of twenty portals following the path the elder found.

Tyr is sucked into a black space that slowly opens up to a small amphitheatre. In front of him is himself. A chime goes off and a window displaying 'First Floor Trial - Defeat your greatest Enemy.'

Tyr first action is to recheck that the unlimited system is still enabled. He knows that the flaw in the current iteration of the unlimited system dials up the pain one hundred and fifty per cent however the implant will respond by growing bigger. This growth in the implant will improve his health and brain function in the real world. Inside the game, it will increase his base factors. This hidden stat is used in the base calculation of all his stats especially regeneration. Most professional players have larger than normal implants due to the unlimited system. The cause of the flaw is because the unlimited system is yet to be tailored for each person on an individual basis. Of course, Tyr had also told the others to try and use the unlimited for as long as they can. Sighting the similarities of the Unlimited system to an old combat game that was popular fifty years ago alongside The alpha: Unity.

Tyr thinks, ' this is going to be really painful.' Walking into the amphitheatre proper. The sand feels hard and a stench of blood hangs on the sand. On the wall are weapons hung up. Tyr grabs a long spear and a shield. He moves them naturally. While he is better with the short spear he is here to learn. Most trial towers with level zero requirement do so because they are teaching a hidden form. These are some of the things hidden powers are most looking for.

In his past life, everyone knows that all trials, tests and proving grounds. The first few levels are all a learning opportunity. The Tyr in front of him is a dual-wielding swordsman. Tyr takes to the sands and stands in a proper stance. Without a class, he only has access to the basic thrust skill from his spear and a block from his shield. Tyr watches his phantom approach, shaking his head.

Attacking like an amateur the phantom is a really good copy of past self. Overwatch has large amounts of information on everyone and has used it to create this enemy. Tyr uses block and thrusts at his phantom in the leg.

The phantom shouts a pained groan swinging, with the swordsman skill triple strike. Tyr's shield rattles as each attack is blocked. His arm feels numb so Tyr has to sidestep to avoid the thrust. Unfortunately, the phantom matches his side step with a horizontal strike. As soon as the sharp cold blade hits his stomach. Tyr yells out falling to his knees because of the pain that feels like someone is cutting him in half with a pair of scissors. The phantom doesn't stop rather delivering the death blow by cutting his head off. Which rolls on the ground before his body turns into pixels.

Sihle is teleported to a strange black void there are only eight stars. He walks around waiting for his body to appear. the thirty seconds before he can revive himself. Unlike a normal death, players lose a level and real-life twenty-four-hour penalty. The only odd thing to him is that his real-world body appeared before switching back to his character. This has never happened to him before. He chalks it up to first day problems.

Styx is swinging his arm as he slices his seventh Reaper. He is pissed off at the fact that so far none of the creatures here drops any item or any experience. The Netherealm river he is in is unfamiliar to him. Netherealmers live in these large spiritual rivers. They are formed from the energy of souls in the process of ascending. Styx loves his weapons they have made him an excellent killer. Even with his races nature he can't help but fantasize about the possibility once he becomes a thief and later an assassin. He is even able to sneak up on creatures that are extremely sensitive to spiritual pressure.

His blades slicing another Reaper. They exchange a series of blows before Styx manages to kill this one. Reapers are larger than Guiders and are much denser and almost completely white. Having been corrupted by the voidless energies they emit an almost liquid plasma. Styx's trial is one of strength. He has to protect as many souls from being reaped in one hour as possible.

A task that becomes much simpler because he listened to his girlfriend Frey and used his head first. In order to get the best reward, he has to ensure that no more than ten souls are killed. His solution instead of running around was to have the souls block for each other. This gives him enough time to respond to each reaper without losing any souls.

Styx thinks of how he can become a baby god. To the Guiders, the gathering of souls and soul power is to become a baby god. This will allow him to the most powerful Guider. This dream will help him realize his dream. Crushing his siblings' efforts being in exile has not been easy for Raul.
