Rubik’s Cube of Heavens

Chapter 14: Inside and Outside

Perhaps it was the enhancement of some magic, but the sound insulation effect of the shop was very good. If one didn't listen carefully, the noise in the street outside the shop could hardly be heard.

He sat on the bench obediently for more than a minute, carving all the scenes in the shop into his mind. He didn't have time to find more details. Coven's small body suddenly jumped up.

He quickly walked to the door of the shop and looked through the glass window in the direction where Ollivander disappeared. He looked carefully in the crowd. After finding no trace of Ollivander, Coven let out a sigh of relief.

He frowned and was about to open his mouth to mutter something, but in the next moment, he immediately closed his mouth. Because he used too much strength, his teeth made a crisp sound of collision.

'No! I can't speak! If there is any eavesdropping or message magic in this room, it will be over!'

'Damn it! I should be applying for the 'Universe Adventure Pass' right now! Not in this damn! sloppy! dirty magic world!'

'Calm down! Calm down!'

"Hiss Fuffuffuffu"

After taking a deep breath, Coven forced himself to calm down and continued to ponder in his heart.

'First, my hand was slipped, and then I was cursed by Rubik's Cube to transmigrate, then... Then, the curse broke out, and I was knocked unconscious by a man in the alley that I transmigrated to…'

'Alright, I was knocked unconscious by a magic that I could not detect.'

'Then…'

Recalling the memories he had when he woke up in the hospital after transmigrating, Coven thought to himself, "It seems that I was lucky enough to survive the curse of Rubik's Cube in the early stage of transmigration..."

'However, I can't be completely sure! Among the people I came into contact with after my transmigration, besides the staff from the Ministry of Magic and the medical staff in the hospital, everyone's attitude seems a little strange…'

'Along the way, everyone seemed to have some false enthusiasm for Ollivander. After introducing me, everyone's kindness and enthusiasm for me was also full of utilitarian meaning…'

'Ollivander…'

'This old man hid his true emotions very well, but sometimes his eyes and movements also revealed something. It is obvious that this old man is absolutely not as friendly as he shows me…'

'He is observing me and guarding against me. This is why he often ignores my age and identity. Once there is a scene that is contrary to his common sense, then he will always test me first…'

Coven turned around and looked into the shop, but his eyes were scattered and unfocused. He still thought to himself, "All these things, then, first of all, I should first hear about a family member who had just escaped death, a strange place, a sudden change in a living environment..."

'Tsk…'

'How should I act in such a complicated situation? Loneliness? Timid?'

'Hmm... With caution and solitude, I should be able to deal with it for a period of time, and then slowly change my character in the future…'

'Alright! Let's do it this way first! But I still have to be careful! Even if Rubik's Cube's curse seems to have passed, I am currently in the magic world where all kinds of scientists would curse and leave the group. For those so-called magic that I still can't understand, it is not an exaggeration to be extremely careful.'

Cautious! Cautious! Cautious!

"Phew..."

Coven let out a long sigh of relief. Then, he rubbed his face with both hands and turned around to look around to see what he could do now.

However, this was a magic staff store. Who knew what things could be touched and what things could not be touched? Therefore, it was better, to be honest.

Thinking of this, Coven obediently sat back on the bench. From this moment on, he would look at the various scenes in the store. At the same time, his face would be filled with surprise. He looked at the wizards outside the store.

...

Outside the magic wand shop, in the window on the left, a man and a woman were whispering something to each other.

The man, a wizard, was a middle-aged man. He did not wear wizards' clothes like the men and women in the alley. Instead, he was dressed in a decent casual suit.

The woman beside the man wizard was an old woman. She was dressed in a standard wizard robe and a pointed wizard hat.

At this moment, the male wizard's voice sounded, "Professor McGonagall, the situation of the child inside is what I just said."

"Are you sure?" The witch said in a deep voice, "You didn't miss anything?"

"Yes." The male adept nodded solemnly. "We have already checked the child's memories. We can not find any memories from that night in his mind."

"I have read your reports." Professor McGonagall nodded slightly. "Judging from the child's physical condition, it is impossible for him to be an orphan. He has obviously been carefully taken care of and nurtured before, so it is impossible for the child to have no relatives or friends."

"Our judgment is the same." The male wizard responded, "But we used the status pocket watch in the department to test it. The pocket watch shows that the child has no relatives alive."

"Could it be that Death Eater..." Professor McGonagall muttered.

"We also suspect this is the case." The male wizard whispered, "We think that Ollivander-Death Eater, should have killed the child's family and friends first, and then kidnapped the child..."

"Excuse me!"

The third voice interrupted, "Please don't add my surname when talking about Death Eater!"

"Oh, I'm very sorry! I'm not referring to you, but your cousin." The male adept turned to look at the empty space beside him and nodded in apology.

"Alright..." Ollivander's voice sounded again out of thin air. "I accept this apology."

The male wizard nodded again to express his apology. Then he continued to say to Professor McGonagall, "We suspect that Death Eater might have used 'obliviate' on that child before. That is why we could not find any memories from that night when we probed the child's memories."

"Why do you use the word 'suspect'?" Professor McGonagall was puzzled. "Have you been affected by 'obliviate'? You should be able to detect it."

"We are also very puzzled about this." The male adept's expression was slightly helpless. "We did not detect any traces left behind by the evil curse on that child."

"How could this be?" Professor McGonagall whispered softly.

"When I was in the hospital..." Ollivander's voice came in. "I heard the nurse saying something."

"What?" Professor McGonagall asked.

The male wizard also looked at the empty space beside him.

Ollivander continued, "The nurse lamented that the child's body was too strong. If one had to describe it, the child's body was so strong that it was not like a human. Instead, it was more like the child of a giant dragon."

"Oh right!" The male adept interrupted, "We also have the child's inspection report. It also mentioned this."

"Alright." Professor McGonagall nodded slightly. "There are too many miracles in the magic world. Maybe that child is a descendant of a special family in the east. Maybe they have that kind of physique, which led to the child's magic tolerance being so strong. In just a day or so, he digested the magic traces on his body."

As soon as she finished speaking, Professor McGonagall and the male wizard turned their heads at the same time and looked at Coven in the store through the glass window...
