Rubik’s Cube of Heavens

Chapter 20: Shopping

In just a few hours, there were too many things that surprised Coven, one after another.

He carefully read the book in his hand again and confirmed that he was not wrong. It was clearly written that he needed to wave and shake the wand in his hand while chanting the spell.

After thinking for a long time, he still could not understand why he could cast the spell without waving the wand.

Coven originally wanted to try using the wand according to the method taught in the book, but after thinking for a while, he gave up the idea. After all, he had performed enough overview today. If he did something unexpected, it would be difficult to continue to maintain his character.

In this way, Coven simply put down the "standard spell - Beginner Level" and picked up the other items that Ollivander bought for him to check.

After an unknown period of time, just as Coven was fiddling with the "Alright, there's nothing left to pack."

Coven looked towards the source of the voice and saw Ollivander walking towards the door while putting his magic wand back into his pocket. Seeing this, Coven immediately put the crucible back into the box and got up.

"Are you familiar with the textbooks and learning tools?" Ollivander walked up to Coven and asked with a smile.

"Yes, I've seen them all."

"Very good, but don't worry about how to use them properly for the time being. When you go to the school in the future, the teachers will teach you how to use them" Ollivander patted Coven on the shoulder, and then gently pushed Coven on the back and said, "Let's go. We will prepare the remaining items for you to go to school."

"Is it okay in the store?" Coven turned around following Ollivander's hand and asked as he walked to the store door.

"It doesn't matter. The magic shop we are going to is not far away. I will watch it on the street. If there are any guests, I will come back to entertain them." Ollivander responded.

Coven stopped talking and walked out of the shop.

When he left the shop, the noise in the alley suddenly became clear to his ears, and there were all kinds of jokes, greetings, and shouts.

Without waiting for Coven to observe carefully, Ollivander raised his voice slightly and pointed to the left. He said, "Over there, Mrs. Mo Jin's robe store. Let's go."

Coven responded and followed Ollivander.

They were less than twenty meters away and soon stood at the door of Madam Malkin''s robe store.

"Let's go in. I'll stay here and watch the wand shop." Ollivander said, "After you go in, just tell them that I asked you to come. I have already given them the money in advance."

"Yes, sir." Coven nodded and pushed open the door.

The bell rang, Coven entered the shop and made the owners and guests in the shop turn their heads to look at him.

"Hello." Coven glanced at the scene in the shop and instantly recognized who the boss was. He said, "It was Mr. Ollivander who asked me to come."

"Ah, of course, child." The shopkeeper, Madam Malkin, was a short, fat witch, and responded warmly, "Child, sit down first. I will serve the Clive family first."

"Yes, my lady," Coven responded and nodded to the three of them who were observing him. Then, he sat on a bench near the door.

As Madam Malkin greeted them warmly, the Cresswell family also looked away from Coven and continued shopping.

Not long after, the Cresswell family left the shop in satisfaction. Madam Malkin, who was sent to the door, turned around and warmly said to Coven, "It's our child's turn."

"Alright, Madam. What should I do?"

"Come, stand here and listen to my command." Madam Malkin held the magic tape measure in her hand and called out.

Coven stood at the designated position and then raised his arms and legs according to Madam Malkin's instructions to measure the size of the magic tape measure on his body.

Soon, the measurement was completed.

Madam Malkin looked at the data on the booklet in her hand again and nodded in understanding. "Very good. Wait a moment, I will go get your school uniform."

"Sorry to trouble you," Coven replied.

"Oh, what a polite child." Madam Malkin praised him with a smile and walked to the warehouse.

Soon, Madam Malkin returned to the store with a cardboard box. She handed the box to Coven and said, "The robe, cloak, and hat are all in here."

"Thank you, Madam." Coven took the box and did not question the size of the clothes chosen by the other party. After all, this was the magic world. The other party would not disappoint the guests.

"There's still the last." Madam Malkin pointed to an exhibition stand on the inside of the shop. "Go and choose a pair of dragon skin gloves that you like."

Coven followed the directions and came to the exhibition cabinet. He quickly picked out a pair of thick black leather gloves.

The items needed to be bought in this shop had already been prepared. Coven then politely bid farewell to Madam Malkin and met up with Ollivander who was waiting outside the shop.

….

Next, the two went to the 'Eeylops Owl Emporium'.

Coven chose a white and brown long-eared owl', because Coven likes the top of the long-eared owl' very much. The ear feathers look like ears.

'Of course, I am also very satisfied with the bright red eyeballs and black pupils of the owl.'

In the end, Coven gave it the name 'Owlivia'

At this point, the things needed to go to school were all prepared.

During this period of time, Coven had more or less understood the whole of Diagon Alley. He was more concerned about Ollivander's warning to him, warning him not to go to Knockturn Alley.

The entire Diagon Alley was Y -shaped. Three roads intersected and formed. The intersection point was a Gringott Bank. The street on the right side of the bank was also Diagon Alley, and the road on the left side was the Knockturn Alley that Ollivander had warned.

Looking from afar, the Knockturn Alley seemed to absorb light. Even during the day, the place looked very dark.

Coven still had some memory of the Knockturn Alley. He remembered that he had seen it on the Internet when he searched for information about 'Harry Potter'. However, he read it in Chinese at the beginning. Now that Ollivander said the name of the place, Coven subconsciously translated it into Chinese, which corresponded to the information in his mind...

After tasting the ice cream of 'Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour'', the two returned to the magic wand shop.

It was already past lunch time. Not long after the two of them returned to the store, the guests that Ollivander spoke of finally arrived one after another.

It was basically a family of three. The parents bought wands for the children.

There was nothing that Coven could help with, so he had to move all the required items to the second floor and stay in a small warehouse that Ollivander had prepared for him.

After simply tidying up his future residence, Coven randomly picked a textbook and began to read...
