Supreme Dragon Seal

Chapter 18: Jin Gang And Huan Ying

Qi Bei sat on the edge of the bed and placed his hand on the girl’s wrist, probing with his internal energy.

Immediately, Qi Bei’s brows furrowed. Half of the girl’s twelve meridians were blocked, with the most serious being the Jueyin Pericardium Meridian and the Shaoyin Heart Meridian. No wonder she experienced severe chest pain whenever she got angry or anxious.

If this were modern times, she would be considered to have a serious heart condition.

However, Qi Bei faintly sensed that something was out of the ordinary. These blocked meridians seemed to be suppressing a powerful force.

Unconsciously, Qi Bei looked toward the giant man. There should be some even more powerful force hidden within this man’s body, or else he wouldn’t feel extreme danger.

These two siblings were not ordinary!

“How is my little sister?” the giant man asked anxiously when he saw Qi Bei looking over. His little sister had fallen ill three times since birth, each time struggling to survive from the brink of death.

“She’ll be fine. All of you can leave. No one is allowed to come in without my permission,” Qi Bei made up his mind. He wanted to keep these two siblings by his side.

“No way,” the giant man exclaimed loudly.

“If you don’t want her to die, leave,” Qi Bei’s voice turned cold.

This obviously hit the giant man’s weak spot. He hesitated for a moment before turning around and walking out.

Lie Feng and Iron Head also bowed and left, closing the door behind them like two door gods guarding the entrance.

Qi Bei helped the girl sit up and sat cross-legged behind her. He placed his palm on her back and circulated his internal energy while imprinting a mark on her using his Dragon Seal. Women with extreme Yin energy were hard to come by. He was lucky to have encountered Yao Rao before, who he had inadvertently merged with when they were both engulfed by extreme Yang fire. Their Yin and Yang energies had balanced each other out, saving them from danger. Now he had encountered another one, so he had to keep her by his side.

Was this a shameless act?

Yes, it was!

But if both parties were in love, shamelessness didn’t matter anymore.

However, he was a bit confused. Why was he only able to detect that she had extreme Yin energy when she fell ill?

Qi Bei continuously poured his vigorous internal energy into the girl’s body, hitting the blocked meridians. Her meridians were too severely blocked to be completely cleared overnight, and even if he could completely clear them now, he wouldn’t do so. He still knew nothing about these two siblings, not even their names.

As time passed by, Qi Bei’s palm on the girl’s back was constantly emitting a faint golden light, while every time he breathed, a hot mist with a hint of golden color sprayed out of his nose.

Half an hour had passed, and Lie Feng and Iron Head remained motionless like two wooden stakes, while the giant man walked restlessly back and forth in the courtyard.

Just then, the girl woke up, feeling warm all over, as if she was soaking in a hot spring.

But soon, the girl realized something was wrong. She turned her head abruptly, and saw Qi Bei’s handsome face with his eyes closed. Immediately, she punched him in the face with her white and tender fist.

“You shameless scoundrel, you…”

“Pfft.”

As soon as the girl finished speaking, Qi Bei spewed out a mouthful of blood on her body and fell backward.

The girl was stunned. Was her punch so powerful?

Soon, the girl recalled what had happened. She looked at her intact clothes, covered her mouth with her hand, and realized that Qi Bei had saved her with some kind of strange technique, but she had repaid him by making him vomit blood.

“Hey, are you okay? I didn’t mean to do it.” The girl tried to help Qi Bei up, who was in pain, feeling a bit at a loss.

Qi Bei opened his eyes and spewed out another mouthful of blood.

The girl hurriedly helped him wipe away the blood from the corner of his mouth. Her beautiful eyes were already misty with tears. She really didn’t mean to do it.

Qi Bei secretly glanced at the girl. Although he had spent some internal energy, it wouldn’t hurt him to this extent. Just now he forced out some blood. When pursuing a girl, one had to use some means.

Trembling like a terminally ill person, Qi Bei sat up and suddenly leaned forward, resting on the girl’s chest. ‘You look pretty thin, but you’re actually quite well-endowed.’ Qi Bei felt a sense of satisfaction in his heart, and the softness against his cheek made him feel ecstatic.

“I’m sorry, I really didn’t mean to do it.” The girl’s voice was tinged with a crying tone.

“It’s… it’s alright. I just had a bit of a spasm. It’s better now.” Qi Bei knew when to stop, otherwise, it would be counterproductive if he went too far. Reluctantly, he moved his cheek away from the girl’s bouncy chest.

Qi Bei took two deep breaths, and his pale face regained a bit of color. This also made the girl feel a bit more relieved.

“On the street, I didn’t mean to do it either.” Qi Bei said seriously.

The girl’s pretty face blushed slightly and nodded, “I know now.”

“My name is Qi Bei, what about you?” Qi Bei asked.

“I…I don’t have a name,” the young girl hesitated for a moment and shook her head in confusion.

“What about your brother?” Qi Bei was also taken aback. How could a person not have a name? Even “Little Flower” or “Little Red” could count as a name.

“He doesn’t have one either. He has always called me ‘little sister,’ and I call him ‘brother’,” the young girl said.

Qi Bei looked into the girl’s clear eyes and believed her.

“Go and open the door, otherwise your brother will go crazy,” Qi Bei said.

After hearing the words ‘go crazy,’ the young girl’s face changed slightly. Then she heard the banging sound outside and hurriedly got out of bed to open the door.

“Little sister, are you okay?”

“Young Master, are you okay?”

Lie Feng and Iron Head rushed in almost at the same time, asking.

Qi Bei waved his hand and got down from the bed. Lie Feng and Iron Head immediately came over to support him.

Seeing that his sister was okay, the large man came over to thank him.

“It was just a misunderstanding, there’s no need to thank me so much. I just temporarily alleviated your sister’s condition. Her physical condition is already in a terrible state,” Qi Bei said after thinking for a moment.

The burly was silent for a moment and hummed, “I know. My sister’s illness cannot be cured.”

The young girl was also a little disappointed. She was at the age of blooming like a flower, who would want to die like this? She had too many dreams and regrets.

“But it’s not impossible to cure. It just takes a long time,” Qi Bei said.

The burly man and the young girl’s eyes lit up at the same time, but then they both dimmed. The burly man shook his head and said, “I know this illness. No one in the world can cure it.”

“My boss said he can cure it, so he can,” Iron Head said loudly. This rough soldier had gone from looking down on Qi Bei at first to worshiping him now.

“Really?” Although still skeptical, The burly man’s voice contained a glimmer of hope.

“Yes,” Qi Bei nodded confidently.

“As long as you can cure my little sister, my life belongs to you,” The burly man said with his thunder-like voice.

Qi Bei smiled. This was what he wanted to hear.

“In a year, as long as I am still alive, I can completely cure your little sister. If I can’t cure her after a year, you can leave at any time,” Qi Bei declared confidently.

And so, on a moonlit night, Qi Bei gained two new companions.

These two siblings had nothing in their home and nothing good to bring, so they tidied up and followed Qi Bei out of the impoverished area.

Qi Bei couldn’t have nameless people by his side, so he gave the giant a grand name, Jin Gang (King Kong)! He also named the young girl, calling her Huan Ying (Phantom)
