The Complete Guide to Rearing an Alien Boyfriend

Chapter 25

Chapter 25 the Bright Milky Way
Long Xi, who felt replete, was in a particularly good mood. Mo Kun feeding her cherries with his lips, gave her a wonderful feeling, it could hardly get better!

Considering all the weird things that had happened today, it had ended pretty well.

For the first time in a long while, Mo Kun felt alive again. The searing pain of the past, however, was still deeply etched in the depths of his soul.

Long Xi looked at the snow leopard lying motionless on the ground, with its eyes closed. The sheepskin and viscera left before it, remained untouched.

The snow leopard must not die.

Long Xi Long Xi grabbed the snow leopard and shook it desperately.

“Hey, I say, are you going to shake it to death?” Mo Kun was unable to stop her.

“Its eyes are closed and it is motionless. Do you think it is dead?” Long Xi asked anxiously, shaking it less violently now.

“It’s still alive!” Mo Kun was dumbfounded.

The poor snow leopard that had been shaken so violently by Long Xi gradually opened its eyes and gave her a rueful stare. Long Xi was relieved.

“It gave me a fright!” Long Xi patted her chest.

“You are the one scaring it to death.” Mo Kun pointed out sharply.

“I just wanted to know if it’s dead or not!” she whined, sounding like a spoiled child.

“Of course not! It just doesn’t want to eat, probably because the wound in its heart hasn’t healed yet,” said Mo Kun.

“It must miss its deceased companion badly.” Long Xi said gloomily.

“Yes.” Mo Kun nodded.

Long Xi didn’t know what to say. Thinking about the snow leopard’s fate that was as fleeting as the falling autumn leaves, she felt a heavy sense of desolation and a deep sense of loneliness.

She cupped the snow leopard’s face and asked it in a serious tone.. “Why aren’t you eating? Are you on a hunger strike?”

The snow leopard naturally couldn’t reply, even though Long Xi tried to communicate with it; this almost made Mo Kun laugh out loud.

“Although snow leopards are monogamous, once their spouses die, they will search for new mates. You don’t have to worry about that.” Mo Kun told her.

“Really? But this snow leopard doesn’t seem to be following that rule. Xiaoyang, if you die of hunger, Yinyueliang will also be sad.” Long Xi told the snow leopard solemnly.

“Xiaoyang? Yinyueliang?” Mo Kun had a bemused expression on his face.

“Yes, I named the dead snow leopard Yinyueliang, because it had a silver crescent moon on its forehead. This one, I named Xiaoyang because the sun is always together with the moon! Don’t you think that sounds great?” Long Xi said proudly.

“But this snow leopard is a female and the other one is a male.” Mo Kun clapped his hand to his forehead in disbelief.

“What?”

“Female snow leopards don’t have that, only males do. Don’t you even know this?” Mo Kun lazily teased her.

“Oh, I did not notice that. I can see this one is bigger, so I think it’s a male. Is it really a female? Why is it so small? Was the mother leopard malnourished when she was pregnant with it? Then it needs a new name.” Long Xi held her chin and racked her brain.

Mo Kun didn’t really care what the snow leopard was called. He stood up and added some more firewood to the fire.

Then he heard Long Xi shouting, “Kunkun! I’ll call it Kun Kun! Well, that sounds great!”

Mo Kun stumbled and nearly lost his footing.

“What did you say her name was?” Mo Kun squinted at her.

“This snow leopard was saved by the medicine you created. Your name is Mo Kun, so Kunkun is the most suitable name for it!” Long Xi ignored the exasperated breath he deliberately released, as she explained word by word her reason for naming the snow leopard. Mo Kun felt a massive headache coming on.

“Kunkun… I am Mo Kun, how could she use my name on a snow leopard? And it’s a female! Kill me now!”

“How can this be happening… I am the alien Lord Mo Kun, yet I can’t understand this earth girl!” “Is she smart or stupid? I really don’t know anymore.”

Mo Kun added enough branches for the fire to burn for a long time. He then went to the lake and caught a few fish. He walked to a big rock, which was a distance from the bonfire, sat down and looked at Long Xi.

Long Xi did not roast the fish immediately, but put it in front of Kunkun, trying to persuade it to eat.

Although Long Xi did not know if Kunkun could understand her, she really wanted it to live.

Mo Kun knew what she was thinking about at the moment, thanks to the high-intelligence chip in his brain but he still could not understand her actions.

“Please eat something” Long Xi pleaded with Kunkun.

However, Kunkun did not look at Long Xi at all. It stared dazedly at the bonfire.

Long Xi laid down beside Kunkun and snuggled against it, trying to make Kunkun feel that she was not alone. That in this world, besides its departed lover, there were other people who loved it.

Seeing that there was no response from Kunkun, Long Xi simply held it in her arms. Now she was not afraid of Kunkun anymore.

It would be great if she knew what Kunkun’s inner thoughts were of! Perhaps, then, she would know how to persuade it to get back on its feet!

Kunkun broke away from her hold and retreated into the hole of a thousand-year-old tree next to her; it had its back to the entrance and sat there, facing the wall as if it was thinking about its past.

Was this a refusal to communicate? Long Xi reluctantly gave up trying to coax Kun Kun.

It was a starry, moon lit night and fireflies were flitting about. .

Mo Kun could not get enough of the beautiful scenery before him; he did not want to go to sleep. He had been born in a different environment and had never seen such an unpolluted atmosphere before.

He looked up at the starry sky and could not settle down for a long time.

His gaze was fixed on a bleak little star in the north eastern corner, his mother planet, BT planet.

His mech MK7 was equipped with an astronomical instrument. He had already used it to accurately locate the cosmic coordinates of his mother planet.

Long Xi noticed his enraptured gaze and she could not help asking, “What’s on your mind?”

Mo Kun said, “Let me show you some pictures of my hometown.”

Long Xi nodded.

Mo Kun clicked on her little head and some very vivid scenes immediately appeared in her mind; it was as if some 4D movies were being shown.

The sky was as black as ink and thick dark clouds obscured the star that was almost as bright as the sun, leaving only a glimmer of light.

There were ruins and deserts that were filled with thick smoke everywhere.

Toxic oily substances and all kinds of garbage were floating in the sea, as well as corpses, both animal and human carcasses.

Several of the corpses looked somewhat different. They had human heads and fish bodies with black skin. Their chiseled and exquisite facial features were covered with silvery scales.

Nothing grew on the land. There were robots every where,. They were like killing machines, carrying out round after round of massacres on the remaining people and animals.

In one of the ruins, a huge chimney suddenly collapsed, crushing several robots that were killing humans and several humans that were being slaughtered by robots.
