The System for Mentoring Villain Bosses

Chapter 15 – Little Cutie (2)

Chapter 15 – Little Cutie (2)

The incident was broadcast all over the news and all other school treated the event seriously and started arranging teachers to stand by the stairs to maintain order. Nothing like that had ever happened at Luo Cheng High School, so no actions were taken here.

When she talked, Liu Kaiyan stood quietly behind and watched her without saying a word.

When Su Tian brought up the incident, everybody went quiet, including the boy who was just now arguing with them.

All the students slowed down on their own and maintaining a healthy distance from each other as they slowly descended the stairs.

When it was as crowded as before, perhaps it was just an illusion, everybody felt that the speed of descending the stairs actually improved.

Finally, after stepping out of the school building, Su Tian called out to Boss Liu with the basketball in toll. Boss Liu stood still and looked down at her.

Su Tian waved the basketball in her hands and smiled at him, “I will bring this home with me for now; let me know whenever you want to have it back and I will bring it back to you!”

Before Liu Kaiyan could respond, Su Tian had already ran off with the chubby girl next to her.

Liu Kiayan watched the two of them walking away further and further from him until they were completely out of sight before he turned around and walked in the opposite direction.

When he wanted it back? Oh.

Would that day ever come?

As soon as they were out of sight from Liu Kaiyan, Wang Huxue immediately clung onto Su Tian’s arm, her eyes filled with admiration, “Tiantian, you were SO cool back there! I think I am going to fall in love with you!”

The way she put the boy in his place with barely two sentences in an even-keeled voice. Wow! That was so incredible!

Unlike her, she’d only picked fights with people when she was upset. Even when she was in the rights it’d seem like she was at fault.

Su Tian, “I should be the one who is going to fall in love with you. You were so nice to defend me back there!”

She barely just met Wang Huxue; it was no small feat for her to stand up for Su Tian like that. Su Tian felt that if this was in ancient China, Wang Huxue must be a heroine who was always helping the weak and the bullied.

Su Tian tossed the basketball on the ground and started dribbling it.

When Wang Huxue saw that, she started nagging her all over again how she needed to keep her distance from Liu Kaiyan; how his mother was a psycho; and that her softie mother Aunty He wouldn’t be able to handle her.

Su Tian would keep her distance if only she could. But she had already promised the system that she would take assignments. She couldn’t just take the benefits without fulfilling her end of the bargain.

Aye, she must give Ms. He a heads up when she got home. In case that it actually happened, she didn’t want to put her mother in a bad position.

The two girls continued on their way home dribbling the basketball back and forth. The cutesy version of Boss Liu bounced up and down in front of them the entire way.

Wang Huxue’s house was on the second floor and Su Tian’s on fifth. The two of them made plans to go to school together the next day. Wang Huxue went inside her own house as Su Tian continued to climb up the stairs toward her own place.

Even though the building was old, the stairwells were still equipped with motion sensors. When Su Tian got to the third floor she noticed the light coming from above. She felt a bit odd; who else would come home so late into the night except for poor high school students like herself?
