Type-Moon, but the Servant is Tom

Chapter 29: Fate of being choked in the neck

As Bai Song looked at the clear three Command Seals displayed on the panel, his pupils involuntarily contracted.

Bai Song turned his head and glanced at the casually expressioned Tom, then turned back to his own hand, took a deep breath, and tentatively touched the third Command Seals drawn by Tom on the back of his right hand.

Hmm, it felt damp, and even some color came off with a touch. Can this thing really be considered a spell?!

If the Three Noble Families who invented the spells found out about this, they would probably collapse in a corner, crying. The spell that he had painstakingly researched was broken by Tom in less than a second, and it wasn't even a proper magical way of breaking it. He simply used a watercolor pen to draw on it, and the spell was restored!

"Tom, you never cease to amaze me..." Looking at Tom in front of him, Bai Song realized that he had been too self-centered and foolishly thought it was impossible. But now that he thought about it, it suddenly made sense that Tom did it...

Tom was about to sit back and continue staring at Jerry when suddenly he heard his master inexplicably praise him.

His fur stood on end, and Tom immediately felt something was strange. He thought it might be because he accidentally smudged his tattoo while fighting with Jerry earlier and then redrew it with a pen of a similar color. But would that really make him happy?

As the saying goes, when something unusual happens, there must be something supernatural behind it. Tom was starting to panic.

"Tom, come over he..." Before Bai Song could finish speaking, Tom, upon hearing those words, was scared as if he had heard the voice of the Grim Reaper. He ran off as fast as he could, afraid that he would be sent off immediately if he ran too slowly.

"Tom?!"

Seeing that Tom seemed to be ready to run away, Bai Song quickly reached out and grabbed him. Fortunately, whenever Tom hurriedly tried to escape, he would always slip in place for a while, which gave Bai Song, an ordinary person, a chance to catch him. Well, whether or not one can catch Tom has nothing to do with strength, but rather with mindset.

After Bai Song grabbed the nape of Tom's neck, holding his fate in his hands, Tom didn't turn into the typical image of a cat being choked by fate. Instead, he struggled even more violently.

On the side, Jerry saw this and no longer pretended to be angry, but instead leaned back on the coffee table and happily enjoyed the show.

The conflict had arisen because of a disagreement with Tom, and now being able to see Tom losing made Jerry feel ecstatic to the point of saying, "Oh, this mouse, feels satisfied!"

Seeing that Tom's struggles were still intense, Bai Song couldn't understand what he was doing. "Stop, stop, stop! I just wanted you to help me draw a few more lines to try it out!"

Upon hearing these words, Tom abruptly ceased his struggling motion, but... just as he had stopped struggling for less than a second, seemingly not understanding Bai Song's meaning, he began to struggle again. However, this time it was very brief, lasting only for a fraction of a second. It was only then that he finally realized what Bai Song intended.

"Phew~." Bai Song breathed a sigh of relief when Tom finally became completely quiet. He gently placed Tom on the ground.

Tom landed softly on the ground, hands hanging in front of him, wearing an expression of blankness as if nothing had happened, attempting to pass unnoticed by Bai Song. Regardless, at this moment, he had to diminish his presence; this was Tom's self-imposed rule for survival.

"You try drawing on my hand again." Bai Song sat back beside the coffee table, rolled up his sleeves eagerly, and placed his hand on the table, allowing Tom to draw a few more Command Seals on his hand.

This was a playful idea Bai Song had come up with when he discovered that Tom could draw Command Seals. Since Kotomine Risei had a hand full of Command Seals, it was only logical that Tom, as a comical character, should also possess a hand full of Command Seals, right?

Considering Kotomine Risei had so many, Tom should be able to do it too. This plan was feasible!

Upon hearing Bai Song's words, Tom couldn't help but point at himself, as if to say, "Are you sure you want me, a clueless cat, to draw for you?"

After receiving Bai Song's confirmation, Tom didn't care anymore. He thought to himself that it was simply his owner's command, and even if the drawing turned out ugly, surely he wouldn't punish a helpless little cat like himself.

Sitting beside Bai Song, Tom absentmindedly pulled out a red watercolor pen from behind and swiftly drew a horizontal line behind Bai Song's Command Seals.

Meanwhile, Bai Song constantly observed his interface. Alongside Tom's drawing of a horizontal line, an identical line appeared on the interface at the same time, matching the pattern Tom had drawn. The remaining count of Command Seals beside it also changed to 4!

"Oh my, it really worked." Bai Song exclaimed and instructed Tom to continue, "Keep going, Tom!"

Seeing that Bai Song didn't seem to resort to any fishing tricks or force him to draw and then declare, "Your drawing is terrible, no dinner for you today!" Tom couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. His anxieties also faded away.

He then diligently wrote stroke after stroke, one vertical, one horizontal, one vertical, one horizontal... In the end, five perfectly square characters appeared behind Bai Song's Command Seals, lined up on his forearm, almost reaching his elbow.

"Oh my, well done, Tom!" Bai Song exclaimed with excitement. Finally seeing Bai Song's satisfaction with his drawing, Tom relaxed. After casually putting down the pen, he sneakily made his escape, leaving Bai Song behind, still gazing at the Command Seals counter.

Looking at the display on the interface showing 28 Command Seals, Bai Song suddenly felt a sense of superiority. The thought of being able to use Command Seals freely in the future made Bai Song feel ecstatic. Having a total of 28 Command Seals was even more than the combined number of Command Seals of the other six Masters!

Initially, Bai Song had thought that Command Seals should not be used haphazardly and should only be used when necessary. But now, it seemed that this was merely a foolish notion of an ordinary person like himself.

However, just as Bai Song closed the interface and looked at his wrist, he was stunned. "One, two, three... Why are they all '正' (Zhèng)?!"

Bai Song's wrist displayed a total of five '正' characters! (正 = positive, straight, just )

"Tom?!" Bai Song looked bewildered in Tom's direction, only to find no trace of Tom anywhere. He had already disappeared without a trace.

Bai Song's heart sank as he realized the situation. He thought to himself, "Oh no, my hand is definitely something I can't show anyone!"
